The perfect starting point for your discovery trip through St. Moritz and the Engadine
The River Inn is located in the Engadine, probably the most beautiful high valley in the world! It is situated at the end of St. Moritz Bad, but it is still in the middle of life, and it makes honor to its name: The river Inn splashes past the hotel! The mountain railway (Signalbahn) is only about 250 meters from the hotel, and the ski slope ends almost directly in front of the River Inn! The countless cross-country ski trails are also within sight! In summer, our hotel is an ideal starting point for hikes and bike tours through impressive mountain landscapes. Also the bus stop, a tennis court, a public indoor swimming pool and a bathing lake are reachable in 10 minutes on foot.
Arriving by car
Travelling by car via the Julierpass/Malojapass, The River Inn is the 1st house at the village entrance on the left. Travelling by car from Vereina/Austria - once you have reached St. Moritz, follow the road alongside the lake in the direction of “Silvaplana” then after the 3rd roundabout take the exit to the right at the company “Martinelli” and you will find us at the end of the village. We are the last building.
Arriving by train
If you are arriving by train from the direction of Chur, you will be able to admire a beautiful railway line with a picturesque landscape. From the St. Moritz railway station you can take the bus number 1 or number 9. Then take the 3rd stop at “St. Moritz Signalbahn Station”. From there you can reach us within 5 minutes on foot. We can not offer you a shuttle service. A taxi from the train station to us will cost around CHF 22.00.
